The obi in the wreckage

Standard

Such a pretty obi. An obi I would be proud to own and wear. This photo was taken just a handful of days ago by a woman helping with the tsunami clean up. The photo is moving and speaks of the devastation that still remains. This was once someones home. To quote the photographer about this photo: ” Of course, you can. Make sure that you say that this was someone’s home here! There was a battered computer next to it, too. There are square kilometers of scenes like this, but when i saw someone’s precious obi, I wept!” .
